and yesh. we're back from EFL. last overseas EFL for our sec life. D: i miss it quite abit. :/ day 1 learnt weaving with pandan leaves. quite easy to learn as the steps are repeated everytime. mrs gomaz was great at it :D our group was at tekam plantation. long long bus ride before we reached. day 2 trekking and then canopy walk. trekking had no leeches. woohoo. :D trekked for about 4km and took 3 hours. canopy walk was alright. im afraid of heights so i guess i shouldnt say anything. HAHAH. one part of it was that we needed to climb the steps then start walking. that path was like hanging low la. so scary. ahhaha. and to think ss jumped on everyone of them. poor rozann. xD ate lunch at the small beach, then went for boat ride. super wet i tell you. all the people at the front of the boat kept using the paddle to direct water at the next boat. lets call them sprayers. :D and the thing is. OUR BOAT DIDNT HAVE A SPRAYER. arghh. we just got 'hit' from all the boats. -___- and everyone kept screaming and screaming. seriously, whats the point of screaming la. when they scream the sprayers smile and laugh and do you think they'll let you off? nah. spray you for more fun! so stop screaming! arghhh. esp those who really scream, not screaming for fun. its called rapid shooting i guess. all drenched. it looked like we all had a bath. haahah. it was fun nonetheless. took the bus to the cave. was afraid of wetting the bus so some people stood for half an hour or so. packed up, dinner, night walk. night walk is quite fun. ahhaa. only one candle to guide the way. there were fireflies too! so cute. xD supper was satay. ate one and some people went to bath. i didnt. =x day 3 packed my sleeping bag in the darkness. [morning!] i know im pro :D HAHAHA. heavy rain in the morning. no one wanted to go down for breakfast. our kind kind instructors brought up breakfast o__o rain stopped. abseiling. we went to the inner cliff to abseil. super muddy la, the way there. was 7th out of about 12 people to abseil. un-gloved hand was holding tightly to the moving rope. argh. it seemed like a natural reaction. haahah. i dknw why i keep holding so tightly as if im clinging for my dear life -__- didnt hit the side of the rock. mr wong said i was the best abseiler *boast* HAHAAH. some people went for a second round. was reluctant to lean back at first, at the start of the abseiling process. its like jumping down indirectly. so dumb. ahha. kept holding the old man's rope to pull back and he was saying "let go, let go." whahaha. survivor cooking. magimee, hotdog, egg. super hard trying to start the fire. started to rain again when we finished eating. CAVING! the way there was pretty muddy. and when we reached the place before going into the cave [no leeches], i pulled up my trackpants and i could see all the despo leeches. HAHHAHA. some sucking and some finding for a spot. xD got 5 leeches altogether. one burst between my toes. HHAHA. aww. that leech died a horrible death D: me, rozann and ss had a scoreboard - points awarded for every leech attack. o__o rozann - 100 pts ss - 200 pts me - 300 pts and they call me the leech slayer. hmm. cos i stabbed a leech to burst with a stick? o_o and the leech who burst between my toes. HAHAHA. the cave was cooling. i liked the first obstacle :D the others had bat shit all over, esp bat shit hill. the last segment before we squeeze out of the cave. gross. even when we finally squeezed out, we needed to touch the algae that was on the rocks to get down safely. rawrr. T__T after that it was tekam plantation, bathe, dinner, learnt knots! boring laa. learnt knots in np alr. xD day 4 agro-tour. learnt how they collect the palm oil, rubber and stuff. didnt get to see the owls that kills the rats around the plantation. D: group visited the shop with mrs gomaz to buy things. slacked, briefing for rafting, search for cards to redeem the materials, building of raft. was tying and building the raft halfway when it started to rain. -___- were all drenched. when asked whether we wanted to continue, our group wanted to but the other two didnt want to. :/ so we stopped and began to pack up all the stuff. brought back all the stuff and guess what. it STOPPED RAINING. omg how crazy can it be. waste of effort. we shouldve continued eh, cos we were wet already anyway. since we were early from 'finishing' rafting, had 3 hours to bathe and slack. dinner, slack, bus ride to train station, wait at station. the train got delayed for like 1 or 2 hours. wthh! rawrr. so we boarded the train at like 4am+. was seriously half dead in the train. woke up next morning at 7am, then slept again and woke up at like 10.30am. chatted and ate, checkpoint, bus ride back to school, HOME SWEET HOME(: overall this efl was really less intense than last year's. last year was really no rest and no time to bath. the moment you close the toilet door, one minute and they start banging the door. the toilet was gross and horrible and all. this efl was much slack-ier and most of the time was spent on travel to the designated place. o__o anyway because of this efl, i made alot of friends. im really happy(: so its freaking true when they ask us to get out of our comfort zone. xD cos when you arent, you have no choice but to go for it. and efl also rocks cos _______ __ ____. (: really tired but didnt go take a nap yet. hahahaha. holidays! but holidays = lots and lots of homework. :/ sighhh. P.S i found out rozann and doro actually watch wwe. HAHAH. long lost program. now its only shown on cable tv. so sad. T__T can anyone pay for my subscription? xD |
