Monday, August 29, 2011 Back to Training! Finally back to training on Saturday!(: After lazing around for so long.. Paddled in the rain for quite a while on that day. Was really drenched. Class BBQ - E44Juicy Journalists(: Headed to Tiffany's house for our Class BBQ in the evening(: Chatted and had fun with classmates even though they were not all there. She has 3 dogs, 2 Golden Retrievers and 1 Schnauzer! Damn cool. Her room is really princess-y hahaha. Played vodka shots with Kavin, Kavin's GF Tiffany, Marcus, Halijah, Sim Yee and Justin before going home. Almost couldn't find the MRT and missed the last train :/ Thankfully mum was nearby!(: Went to find her and reached home around 2am when there was training yesterday! Felt exhausted. Training + Karaoke Training yesterday was alright I guess. But I failed to hit the timing for running. Overshot it really bad. Sigh): Guess my stamina really dropped during the long break. I really don't know how to hit the timing, especially when it was cut down before the break. And the adjustment made is always a big difference from the previous. Maybe I'll have to go through the punishments for a while till I achieve it then.. Went to pray before going for some mini family karaoke session with mum and bro(: Been ages since we had late night family fun. Manager suddenly messaged me last night and asked me whether I want to go back to work again. Feeling lazy to work though :/ But it's better than lazing around I guess. My holidays are going to be occupied by mostly training, races, some outings and work again): Wednesday, August 24, 2011 As of today, I've finished 4 UTs! 1 more to go tomorrow(: Can't wait for it to end! I can already smell the holidays hahaha not without the trainings to accompany it :/ Effective and Ethics on Monday. Cross Cultural yesterday. Felt that all of the three were doable(: Research Methods today. Felt that it was quite alright? Was more confident compared to UT1. But there are still some of my answers which I am unsure of :/ Oh well. What's done is done. At least I already tried my best. Been feeling really unfit recently): Must be because of the long break from DB. As much as I complain about the trainings, I must say that the good thing is that it keeps me fit. I can see the girls too(: Kinda weird not seeing them for so long. Not to fret though. Bet training is gonna come back smacking into our faces after UT3 really soon. SAVA is in 2/3 weeks. I really want to do well in that race. P.S Why Ian Fang sooo cute?! hahaha saw him in school once(: Tuesday, August 16, 2011 Bonding session after training again on Wednesday(: Trainings on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Had the last lesson for every single one of the modules. I think this was the best class out of all the 3 classes I was in(: 99% no conflict, can get along well and have fun, peaceful. And finally a class outing that is going to work out. I keep emphasizing on that because I never had such an outing before for poly life. It makes me really happy to have that :D Last day of school yesterday. Felt a little sad but at least there's the outing to look forward to(: Anyway I need to snap out of the holiday mood and remind myself that it's the STUDY WEEK. I let laziness take over me today although I went for the UT clinic in the morning. It's really the time to start revising and all since the UTs are already next week. Going for another UT clinic tomorrow. Hopefully I would be able to exercise and revise a module at least. Gotta do up a list of what I need to do after UT3 too! A bunch of it is already in my mind~ Tuesday, August 09, 2011 HAPPY NATIONAL DAY 2011!(: I love Singapore a lot (despite complaining endlessly like other Singaporeans) :P Always proud being one of the Singaporeans(: It's the last NDP for the President too! He held the post for 12 years. That's like half of my life! Only heard about his brave act of exchanging hostages in the past today. And I'm so glad they didn't play the Fun Pack song! Would've dampened the spirits I guess. The old national songs are good enough, no matter how many times they replay it(: Dinner with family yesterday :D Went to Little India with Irah, Syahirah and Hao Siong today for the Cross Cultural assignment to be due on Friday! Can't believe I actually went there on purpose. Just for a daily grade. Oh well. Survived anyway! Now I don't need to worry about the photos, just about the justifications and everything. Training tomorrow! Hope it'll be a good day(: Sunday, August 07, 2011 Wordy post today! Looks like my video was well received(: Faci Andy liked it a lot. The supervising faci also. Along with the class. Proud of my video(: Looks like my editing didn't go to waste. I was still afraid it would be bad before that. Went for a CE talk on interns and PR on Wednesday. I thought advertising and PR are roughly the same but they're not o_o Learnt some good tips for being an intern next time though(: Captain ball-ed with the girls and juniors after that. Bonding session. Was fun :D Training on Thursday. I hope I'm getting used to all that running. No matter how much I dislike it.. I don't want to suffer so much only to find that I'm not improving. It would really suck. Dinner with family on Friday after school(: Training yesterday and today. Didn't do much today cos it already started getting stormy when we paddled. It rained from around 9am to 12pm. Was drenched. School tomorrow! The whole bunch of last lessons. Will miss this class(: I guess it's the best out of all the 3 classes I was in. I'm hoping for such a class again next semester. There's still the photo assignment to think about though. Argh. Take photos of migrants, really?! Can't they choose something that we are able to do easier? Oh well. Class BBQ coming soon though. Looking forward to it(: Finally a class where a class outing actually works out, not just the plan(: Tuesday, August 02, 2011 Been a long time since I updated! Was busy/tired/occupied/forgot I guess :/ I wonder who still comes here and reads the blog though. Doesn't seem like there's any readers. Basically I was schooling + training + schooling + training. Really hate the extra running portion for training): CCC-STA award ceremony on Wednesday evening(: They kinda messed up on the sequence. Someone before me was called Vivian instead and I was called someone else hahaha. The award giver had to clarify things to the amused crowd. Lunched with the girls after training on Saturday(: Felt really happy talking to them :D Class field trip yesterday to Orchard to take snapshots of window displays. Although we didn't have transport there, the trip in the MRT was kinda fun(: Hope that there will be a class outing soon! I love my class :D Played pool with Kavin, Sulaiman, Tiffany, Justin, Eekie, Jolene and Halijah for a while after that. Watched Captain America with Halijah and Jolene(: It was quite predictable. Starting portion was boring cos of all the talking, but action followed after. Would rate it 3/5. Bathed Taffy yesterday too ^^ Filmed and edited my Effective Presentation solo video over the weekend. Am proud of it(: Hope it does go well in front of the faci and class later on~
