Monday, March 26, 2012 So just like that, MR500 is over. We gave in our best and seen the results. I don't like Jurong Lake as a race site. It isn't very fair and I was bitten by mosquitoes over the past 2 days :/ There was also little shelter provided for the spectators and rowers. We won Champion for Premier (Open) Mixed Minor Finals and lost in the Women's (Tertiary) Grand Finals for the 1st day. Achieved the 2nd/3rd placing for the Women's (Open) Grand Finals on the 2nd day. The guys got Men's (Tertiary) Grand Finals 3rd and (Open) Minor Finals 1st/2nd if I'm not wrong. It rained really heavily + thunder suddenly after our last race of the day yesterday. It rained so heavily and for so long that the remaining races had to be cancelled :/ Our bags were all wet as we huddled under the limited and small shelter for an hour plus. Was so worried for my phone. Thanks Esther though, for trying your best to keep me warm(: Enjoyed the Macs dinner with Susan, Esther L, Nazi, Amy, Vanessa, Enwei, Aifaa, Marion and the rest after we survived the rain(: Homed and slept early after that :D We definitely need to train so much harder now for the upcoming race. I'm not going to let anyone ruin our streak. Win a bit now only want to be fucking act. It's okay, let them win a bit now first, cos we're going to trash them for the major race.
