Thursday, July 12, 2012 Day 1: City of Kowloon Packed my bag at home. Fell asleep -_- Woke up abruptly and rushed off to the airport at 4am. Thankfully it was alright and they didn't leave without me :/ Checked in and flew off shortly(: Arrived and took a bus to the hotel. Settled down and went for lunch. Debrief at night before heading to bed. Roommates were Esther Tan and the advisor, Yihui(: Day 2: Play day Took the bus out to the city area. Went to shop with the girls :D Halal food for lunch and Indian food for dinner. Bought bubble tea. The portion of their bubble tea is a lot. Day 3: 2000m craze Checked out the race venue. Looked at the 2000m races. Some of them were really exciting with all the turns hahaha. Walked around in the super hot sun. Took pictures @ the Avenue of Stars(: Took the MTR from Tsim Sha Tsui to Mong Kok. Went shopping again :P Back to the hotel after that. Wash up and debrief. Watched TV with roommate Esther at night(: Day 4 and 5: Races ahoy Moderate amount of warm up. Lots of waiting. And races. And waiting. The water was really choppy and scary at first :/ It was also seawater so it was painful when it got to my eyes): Got used to it soon enough though. Won a few trophies(: Collisions here and there. Was not happy especially with one of it. Thankfully we got what we deserved in the end(: Cute Russian guy appeared hahaha took a photo with him and Amy :D Should've waited so that I can take a photo with him alone :P A few girls were assigned to lead the shopping. Had to plan out the route and transport. Some guy asked us to help give a girl roses one by one. He then sang a song a proposed to her so sweet(: Day 6: RPDB submarine Most eventful thing of the day is definitely the sinking of our boat. Too many heavy guys in front until the front was in the water before we even started :/ It was really difficult to paddle. Started sinking. Bailed water out like crazy. I bailed water out with my slipper hahaha fail. Too much water :/ Was alright at first but went into a state of shock when I was in the lifeboat -_- Headed back to the hotel first with Aifaa, Marion, Nazi and Yihui with some of the other guys who were also not feeling well. Luckily that was already the last race of the day. Slacked in the room till the rest came back from the race site. Wanted to get the cute dragon tattoo but didn't manage to get it): Celebrated Susan's birthday later that night(: Started packing up our luggage too as we were going to leave the next day :/ Day 7: Back home again Gathered and put all our luggage together in the room before leaving for the race. Managed to bathe before heading to the airport :D Coach + Graduates took a photo first. Dinner there and rushed off to board the plane. Immigration officer took my nail clipper because it had something sharp -_- Finally reached home around midnight. School the next day. Overall, this trip was filled with laughter, fun and definitely precious memories(: It was also my first trip to Hong Kong :D Had a lot of nice food, saw a lot of great scenery and bus rides(: Hope that we will be able to have another similar trip(:
